The Trevor Building, Vereeniging, with believe it or not, a rent of R75 per month, House Plan started burrowing its roots, that saw it grow to the leading architectural firm in the Vaal Triangle, it is today. In 1980, current principal, Donato de Nuzzo, saw an opening in the architectural market, and pursued it with great success. His dedication and passion for architecture made him one of the most respected architectural personalities in the Vaal Triangle. For over 22 years Donato De Nuzzo together with his beloved wife, Gloria, saw the Vaal Triangle grow, mostly from their own pencil and drawing board, in their studio. The unfortunate passing of his wife in 2002, made Donato even more stronger and determined to lead House Plan into the future. With over 40 years’ experience in architecture, quantity surveying, land surveying, town planning, estimating and site agent, Donato has set a benchmark for other architectural firms. The appointment of Steve Bester as a partner in the middle of 2010, was a big milestone in completing the company’s already impressive resume. With over 10 years of architectural, civil and structural knowledge, House Plan has ensured, it isn’t only the leader today, but also into the future. House Plan has made it their mission to serve the people with the best architectural advice, design and professionalism, anyone could ask for. Here are some achievements and major architectural projects for the House Plan team over the years: 1983 - Joined South African Institute for Building Designers; 1983 - Submitted about 80% of plans for Daddaville (New portion of Roshnee) over a period of 5 years; 1985 - Eskom Housing scheme in Sebokeng, mostly in zone 14, 13 and 10; 1988 - Appointed by the South-African Housing Corporation for the various housing developments in Sebokeng; 1990 - Various large townhouse complexes for Bare Properties in Henley on Klip, Paulshof, Morningside and Illovo; 1995 - Formed part of the committee that struggled for 6 years to lay the foundations for where SAIA, SACAP and SAIAT are today; 2001 - Registered House Plan with SACAP as an approved Architectural Practice; 2003 - Kubali River Estate in Risiville; 2005 - Part of a community project in Lenasia at the Nirvana school; 2006 - Kubali Beach Lodge development in Mozambique; 2009 - Kubali Lakeside Estate in Mozambique; 2010 - Lead Architectural firm for Noldick Property Investments, for various commercial and industrial buildings all over South-Africa; 2010 - New Middelburg suburb development; Onwards-2022 - Kiepersol in Honeydew - Eldorado Fresh in Randfontein - Hy-Line Hatchery in Parys - Karma Game Resort in Midvaal - Animal Food Depot in Deneysville - And many house plans in the area
